Brabourne is a very cricket stadium in Mumbai. Though, most of the international matches are held at Wankhede stadium, Brabourne also has had its own shares of matches. This is a comparatively smaller stadium with a seating capacity of about 22000 people. It was named as Brabourne after ‘Lord Brabourne’ who was governor of Mumbai (Bombay, at that time). The stadium is owned by the Cricket Club of India. Sachin Tendulkar made his first double century in this stadium.
How to reach Brabourne stadium? Brabourne stadium is in Churchgate, and the closest railway station on the western line is Churchgate station. You can reach there by local train, or you could take a taxi to the stadium from anywhere in Mumbai, though that is a very expensive option.
