The Mumbai traffic department is very strict with parking on Mumbai roads. If you leave your car in a no-parking zone for a few minutes, your car will surely be towed away. You have to be very particular while parking your two-wheeler / four-wheeler because if your car / bike gets towed, there is a penalty / charge which you have to pay.
The Mumbai traffic police has set certain rules which you have to obey if you don’t want your car to be towed:

How much do I have to pay if my car (4 wheeler) gets towed?
If your car gets towed, you have to pay Rs 200/- as fine and Rs 100/- as towing charge. Total Rs 300/-
How much do I have to pay if my bike/scooter (2 wheeler) gets towed?
If your bike / scooter gets towed, you have to pay Rs 100/- as fine and Rs 100/- as towing charge. Total Rs 200/-
