SAME ON PANVEL – VASAI – DHANU ROUTE HOURLY SERVUCES CAN BE INTRODUCED. THIS WILL HELP DEVELOPING THESE AREAS. KEEP UP YOUR GOOD JOB. Early morning train is starting from Dombivli at 05.33 not Diva. All other time table is OK.
Please increase the frequency of trains.Atleast on Sundays as they r very crowded on weekends.
I hope railway will make frequency of atlease a train in an hour.
People dont travel by this route much as there r very less trains. As the frequency increases crowd will automatically increase

For over 20 years the Indian Railway authorities have been grossly under utilizing the valuable and costly infrastructure created at the cost of the public and grossly mismanaged due to poor planning and vision. When George Eapen the Dy. Div.Rly. Manager was approached with around 300 signatures demanding increase in frequency of EMU shuttles between Kopar-Vasai twice with a time gap of 6 months he gave stereo type reply that this section is mainly for goods/freight train traffic from JNPT to Western and Northern India and that yields money to railways and not passenger trains and that they also caters to Konkan railway long distance trains. I told him that all in between stations have 2 platforms for up and down traffic and a 3rd track for by- pass; and priority can be given to the movement of goods trains and long distance trains and the local passenger EMUs which run at a very nasty slow speed can be sidelined and kept running so that the costly stations and the stations staff paid salary can be given enough work and well utilised. Also the fare be normalised than the ridiculously low fare of Rs.2 from Kopar to Bhiwandi etc. to Rs.4 (min) and tje frequency of trains doubled so that the region in between gets boost for development which is very backward due to poor infrastructure for moving around and access. I had to write to Delhi that George Eapen was unfit for that seat because due to his (one man’s) attitude thousands of people were suffering and within a week 3 more shuttles were inducted from 3 to 5 from Kopar to Vasai and ahead and it came in News papaers that it received a tremendous response. Then one fails to understand why the railways increase the travel speed MPH and reduce trvel time and also increase frequency to not above 2 hours to make optimum use of shuttles and the staff and the infrastructure available for the benefit of the Railways and the public in general. If not done it is crime and wanton injustice against public and regional development which if done will be good for economy of the region, the state and the Railways in general. Panvel is well developed and has many Engineering coleges, industrial belts around and so too is kopar/Dombivli and th;e trains can start from platform no.6/7 of Kalyan, use the 5th & 6th tracks between Kalyan and Diva and run to Panvel or Vasai and thousands of people from Kalyan and around can h;ave direct access to Vasai and Panvel and reduce crowd to Thane, getting down and change trains at Thane etc. This is practicable and common sense aspect.
