Its a known fact – when you visit hill stations and its very cold, you want to get that bottle of rum outside and have a few sips to make you feel all warm.
But, this new bar re-defines everything. Instead of being a regular lounge bar, it is a bar made out of ice. Right from the seating arrangement, to the tables and the glasses – they are all made up of ice.
The temperature inside is minus 6 degrees, and you need to wear jackets, gloves and boots to enter the bar. Nope you dont have to carry all this with you, it is provided by the management at a costs of Rs 750/- per head. by paying this, you also get a complimentary drink inside. The reason for this steep charge of the equipment is that they claim that they dry-clean it after each use.
This is the first ice bar to serve hot and cold food.
