Mumbai as a city has developed by leaps and bounds. The population of the city has gone up tremendously and to support it, so has the infrastructure. Can you imagine a near empty marine drive now? Well, that was the case a couple of decades back when there were hardly any cars on the roads. Do you know how Mumbai looked decades and decades back? Here are a couple of old Mumbai photos to show you how Churchgate station was, or how Kalbadevi looked. Ballard Pier was a railway station earlier and trains went all the way upto Colaba, which was stopped in 1930.
