Over the years we have seen Mumbai grow into a world class city, but do you know how Mumbai looked decades and decades back? Here are a couple of pictures to show you how Churchgate station was, or how Kalbadevi looked. Ballard Pier was a railway station earlier and trains went all the way upto Colaba, which was stopped in 1930.

This was Mumbai when I first landed in 1962 at that time I was 4 yrs. old, still I remeber the look of Mumbai. Change is the law of nature and Mumbai changed Oh! will I get the same look never never never. Gone are the days and gone is the glory of Mumbai.
after staying in mumbai since birth i feel i should have been born in that era where my city was truly a livable city.
