If you use the harbour line for travel and need to go from Andheri to Panvel, the most popular route would be to take a train from Andheri (Harbour Line) and travel upto Wadala, then change the train at Wadala and go upto Panvel. But with these direct trains, you dont need to change trains at Wadala. You sit in the same train and the train changes tracks and goes upto Panvel.

I and many of my colleges reside in Vasai from many years. We use to work at Santacruz, but our company shifted to Taloja. Now we have to go to Taloaj for work. It takes 3 hours to reach to office at Taloja. The Taloja Industrial area has grown rapidly and many MNC’s have set up factories and offices here. Beside Taloja, Vasai & Panvel has also developed to a great extent.
Now slow trains are running from Andheri to Panvel during following time :-

Instead of all these trains it would be very good if fast Trains run from Vasai to Panvel in the morning from 6am,7am,8,9,10,11 and from Panvel to Vasai in the evening 6pm,7,8,9,10,11 for the commuters to travel to offices in Taloja, Panvel & Navi Mumbai and back to residence.
This train service will be of great help to the commuters of the Harbour & Western railway.
Financially also a very feasible & profitable business for the railways.

The timings published above for the trains needs to be updated. KIndly do the needful at the earliest.
kindly increase the frequency of trains from Panvel to Andheri in the Peak hours i.e 7am to 9 am.It would also be helpful if you could bring in Fast trains with selected halts between Panvel and Andheri
